Don't replace what can be restored.
A chipped edge, a hairline crack near the sink, or a benchtop that's lost its shine after years of use rarely means the whole surface needs replacing. In most cases it can be repaired, re-polished and protected — usually assessed and quoted within a day, at a fraction of the cost of a full benchtop replacement.
We work on engineered stone, natural stone and porcelain surfaces, matching colour and finish so the repair blends into the surrounding stone rather than standing out as a patch.
We also work regularly with property managers — fast, minimally disruptive repairs between tenancies, so a chipped or worn benchtop doesn't hold up a turnover.
What we repair
The most common damage we're called out for.
Chips and edge damage — impact damage along benchtop edges and corners, filled and colour-matched so the repair is very difficult to spot.
Cracks — hairline and structural cracks, often around sink cut-outs where stress concentrates, stabilised and sealed to prevent further spreading.
Dull or scratched surfaces — years of everyday wear, cleaning products or hard water marks that have dulled the finish, restored through diamond polishing back to the original sheen.
Stains and etching — acidic spills (citrus, wine, vinegar) that have etched natural stone or marble-look surfaces, addressed through honing and re-sealing.
